Tickets Please is an online archive (instagram and twitter) for cinema tickets – from a 2005 pass to Meet The Fockers at the Star Century in Britain, to a $1 admission to a Singapore theatre from the 1970s. As someone who highly values the theatre experience, and who collects film tickets himself, I am in awe of the vast array of releases Tickets Please has to offer. The online preservation of film history is something that should be supported and encouraged in todays world, where relics of films past can easily deteriorate or be lost.
Chuck these guys a visit, because Tickets Please is a wonderful platform, and a celebration of the small, dog-eared pieces of paper that allow us access into the crazy world that is film.
