Shinji can see ghosts and has visions of their deaths. When Shinji is reunited with a childhood crush – Koyomi at Universityhe feels the need to protect her. Their potential relationship is tested when Koyomi is interested in joining the university Occult club.
Some parts of Haunted Campus that involved Shinijii’s visions are terrifying and each one has a different aspect of horror keeping you on your toes. They gave me pure chills but the dark themes swirling around this campus are balanced carefully with humour.
I could relate to the awkwardness of Shiniji when he is around Koyomi and I’m sure most teens could as well. Haunted Campus does a good job of mixing horror with a dash of humour and cheesy romance to lighten to mood.
